The items sold here are what the ceramic world calls "seconds"—pieces with small imperfections such as forgotten ears, a smeared eye, or a cosmetic crack. Sometimes they have no imperfections, but they were a color combination I was testing out and didn't love. Each one is handmade with care, and though they may have a few quirks, they’re still perfectly functional.
